End User License Agreement

Last Updated: September 24, 2026

This End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) is a binding agreement between you and Village Technology Services, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Village,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It covers the Village mobile application and related software we provide (the “App”). The App is licensed, not sold. Your use of Village’s services through the App is also governed by our Terms of Service (for business accounts), Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy. Those documents are incorporated by reference. If they conflict with this EULA about the App software, this EULA controls.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.

You must be at least 18, or 16 or 17 with a parent or guardian’s approval through Village’s consent process as described in the Terms of Service. If you use the App for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. License

Subject to this EULA, Village grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. For an App obtained from the Apple App Store, your use must also follow the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Restrictions

You will not, and will not let anyone else:

  • copy, modify, or make derivative works of the App, except as the law expressly allows;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except as the law expressly allows despite this restriction;
  • rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the App;
  • remove proprietary notices from the App;
  • circumvent security features, or access the App other than through the interfaces we provide;
  • use the App to build a competing product; or
  • use the App in violation of law or the Terms of Service.

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

  • Purchases in the App are made through Apple. The App may offer paid plans, extra team seats, and prepaid AI assistant usage packs. Prices are shown before you buy.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and period shown, and are charged to your Apple ID account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Usage packs are consumable. Unused pack balance rolls over while your account stays open, but it cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
  • Web purchases follow the Terms of Service. Purchases made on the web are managed on the web, and purchases made in the App are managed through Apple.

5. Device permissions and features

The App asks for permissions only when a feature needs them. You can change permissions in your device settings.

  • Camera and photos: to take or choose job photos, receipts, portfolio images, and documents.
  • Notifications: to send alerts about jobs, messages, payments, and account activity. The App may also show job status on your Lock Screen (Live Activities) if you allow it.
  • Location: the App does not request access to your device’s location. Maps and routes use the addresses entered for jobs.

6. Account deletion

You can deactivate and delete your account in the App under Settings > Account. Deactivation disables access immediately. Your account and its data are permanently deleted about 30 days later, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting the App from your device does not delete your account or cancel an App Store subscription.

7. Ownership

Village and its licensors keep all right, title, and interest in the App, including all intellectual property rights. Content you submit is not included, and the Terms of Service cover it. Village reserves all rights not expressly granted.

8. Updates

We may provide updates, which may install automatically, and some features may require the latest version. Updates are covered by this EULA unless they come with separate terms. We may change this EULA. If we make material changes, we will give notice in the App or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

9. Apple App Store terms

If you got the App from the Apple App Store, you and Village agree that:

  • Parties. This EULA is between you and Village only, not Apple. Village, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Maintenance and support. Village is solely responsible for any maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. For support, email will@jobsonvillage.com.
  • Warranty. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App. Village is responsible for any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty, to the extent not disclaimed.
  • Product claims. Village, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it. That includes (a) product liability claims, (b) claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
  • Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims the App or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Village, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
  • Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country. You also represent that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App, such as your wireless data service agreement.
  • Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. When you accept this EULA, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.
  • Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims about the App: Village Technology Services, LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, New Castle County, will@jobsonvillage.com.

If these App Store terms conflict with the rest of this EULA, these App Store terms control for the App.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. VILLAGE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VILLAGE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP. VILLAGE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED AS STATED IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE, OR, IF THEY DO NOT APPLY TO YOU, TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

11. Termination

This EULA remains in effect until it ends. Your rights end automatically if you breach it. Village may also suspend or end your license as described in the Terms of Service. When it ends, stop using the App and delete it from your devices. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Ownership, Apple App Store terms, Disclaimers and limitation of liability, and Governing law and disputes) survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved under the dispute resolution and arbitration section of the Terms of Service (for business accounts) or the Terms of Use (for everyone else), including the class action waiver and opt-out right. Subject to that, venue is in the state courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, or the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
