Terms of use

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Village is a web and mobile platform that connects homeowners with local, independent service providers through AI-assisted lead matching and marketplace tools such as storefronts, quotes, invoices, and messaging.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it, and you may hold only one account per person.

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for anything other than its intended purpose;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform or its security;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation; or
• upload malicious content or attempt to circumvent security measures.

You are responsible for the content you post, including profile text, photos, and business descriptions. You grant Village a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use that content to operate and promote the Platform. We may remove content that violates these terms.

By texting the Village number (+1 (404) 918-2012) or providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Village and its messaging provider (Blooio), including from an automated system.

• Message types: service matching, provider cards, quotes, invoices, reminders, account notifications, and AI concierge conversations.
• Frequency: varies based on your activity.
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time; reply HELP for help.
• Rates: message and data rates may apply.
• we will not use your number for marketing texts without separate consent; carrier delivery is not guaranteed.

Paid provider subscriptions renew automatically each billing period and your payment method (processed by Stripe) is charged for the next period until you cancel. Current prices are shown in the app and at checkout, and some or all fees may be waived during a beta period. You can cancel anytime in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. We will give advance notice of price changes as required by applicable law.

All Village branding, design, software, and AI configurations are owned by Village or its licensors. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

The Platform integrates third-party services (for example, Stripe, Google, and our messaging and AI providers). We are not responsible for their practices, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” Village does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Providers, the accuracy of AI classification, or that Providers will be available in your area, and does not endorse any Provider.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VILLAGE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, AND VILLAGE IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. This section is read together with the more detailed limitation in the Terms of Service.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Subject to the arbitration agreement in the Terms of Service, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes is the state courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, or the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

These Terms of Use, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Village regarding the Platform.
