Village works inside the AI apps providers already use. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your schedule, customers, quotes and invoices in plain language. Your AI app can also draft quotes and invoices for you. Nothing goes to a customer until you confirm it.
Connect Village to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, Connectors and choose Add custom connector. (Once Village is in the Claude directory, search for “Village” instead.)
- Paste this URL:
https://jobsonvillage.com/api/mcp - Choose Connect, sign in to Village with your phone number or email, and approve access.
- Start a new chat and ask a question, for example “What needs my attention today?”
You need a Village provider account. Claude connectors work on Claude’s web, desktop and mobile apps once added.

- “Which invoices are overdue, and who owes the most?”
- “When am I free on Friday afternoon?”
- “Find customers I haven't worked for in 90 days.”

What your AI app can do
Read
Business summary, jobs and schedule, open time, your services and prices, customers and their history, quotes, invoices, what needs your attention, and Vinny usage.
Draft and edit
Add or update customers, add private notes, draft quotes and invoices, edit drafts, and put jobs on your calendar. Drafts made this way show “Drafted in Claude” (or the app’s name) in Village. Only you see that label. Adding a job never notifies the customer.
Send, with your confirmation
Your AI app can prepare a quote, an invoice or a payment reminder for a customer. It shows you exactly what will go out, and it sends only after you confirm that message in the chat.
What it can’t do
It can’t delete anything, take payments, change your plan or settings, or see another business’s data. Plan limits are the same as in the Village app: if your monthly quote or invoice limit is used, drafts still save and your AI app links you to upgrade.
Privacy and control
- Your AI app sees only your own business. It never gets your Village password.
- Information your AI app asks for is sent to the company that runs it (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT) under your agreement with them.
- Village logs which app made each request and what changed. We don’t receive your conversation with the AI app.
- Disconnect any time in Village under Settings, Connected apps, or in the AI app. Access stops right away.

Troubleshooting
- “Couldn’t resolve your Village account.” Disconnect Village in your AI app and connect again. Make sure you sign in with the account you use for your business.
- “This connection can read Village but not make changes.” Reconnect and allow edits when asked.
- Times look wrong. Check your business timezone in Village Settings. Your AI app shows times in that timezone.
